theres a big scart type plug that connects the ECU , and if u r out of warranty, cant see why you couldn't disconnect/reconnect to get rid of any residual current/ voltage
might help- never know

but when they do their diagnostics they will know you disconnected

Yeah I've dropped off battery live just leaving it off now till in morning have a look then

another daft suggestion- you sure there is enough juice in your battery. how old is it?

Liam asked me this too not sure how old battery is to be honest had battery charger on it it's fully charged

must make sure the battery is holding charge
maybe connect up to another motor , running its engine, as like a jump start

money on an ecu fault tho

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too will find out Tuesday if I can get it into citroen still won't let me delete any faults has it's not recognised when the ignition is switched on or off

Something very similar only problem is the lights won't switch on its showing they are on permanently on in clocks but not working but I've unplugged battery now until in the morning but will try it in the morning do need to find someone else with a 90hdi. To take s picture of there fuse box there is a fuse marked SH HS. Grey and green at bottom of fuse box AND 3 slots that it can fit into I'm unsure which position it should have been in see pic

Thanks for that Looks like I put it in right place so at least I know it's not that battery been disconnected all night and car is been took to mates garage for him to have a look in morning and finally thanks to all that cleared this part up [emoji3][emoji37][emoji30]
