  • Cant set wing mirrors

Hi guys, new to the forum. Purchased a DS3 last wednesday. Love it. But one thing i cant get my head around is setting my mirrors. I know the button to use etc but the button feels like its jammed. I can fold the mirrors in. But i cant select the left or right wing mirror. Is there something i am doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated cheers.

The button should slide easily to the left or the right to select the appropriate mirror. if you can't do that it does suggest a problem with the button.

I'm assuming that the switch is pushed toward the front of the car ?

The switch should slide to either a left, middle or right position. When the mirrors selector is in the left or right positions you then use the round joypad button to move the glass, remember to do this while the engine is running.

The engine doesn't have to be running!

Hi, newbie sifting through all the great stuff about ds3, can't get enough.
About these mirrors, can they be set so they don't fold in when you turn off, just that she's in the drive so no real need for them to run unnecessarily, plus want the motors to last, plan on having it a while, oh and I want a 1:18 scale model in white with a black roof, so far looks like I'll have to paint one me self.....

Don't think you can turn it off, but why would you want to? Its a really handy thing to have, especially in supermarket car parks

Plus it's a good scare mechanism for when people walk past your car

Your dealer can turn the folding function off but then it is all the way off until they turn it back on. No arbitrary switching back and forth between folding and not folding.

Just use as a visual check to make sure that the car is locked
