Don't think you can turn it off, but why would you want to? Its a really handy thing to have, especially in supermarket car parks

Plus it's a good scare mechanism for when people walk past your car

Ok, looks like it's not an option, as for supermarkets well I'm afraid the pug 206 gets to enjoy door dinking since parking spaces are far too narrow for my liking

Your dealer can turn the folding function off but then it is all the way off until they turn it back on. No arbitrary switching back and forth between folding and not folding.

Just use as a visual check to make sure that the car is locked

That, is actually better than yanking the door handle to check, nice one

If you fold the mirrors using the button on the door, then they will not unfold automatically unless you press the button again.
