My DS3 needs a new... alternator!

A friend's DS3 had that light come a few days ago so she booked it in at the dealers. Earliest they could look at it was next week!

There were no other symptoms and the car was working perfectly it seemed. She started it yesterday morning and no warning light, nothing this morning either! She'll probably cancel the dealer trip if it's still OK at the week-end

I had the light come on earlier this week. Brought it in yesterday to check it. They said there is a new recall coming up for the software, and I would have received a letter in the coming weeks. So they uploaded the new software immediately and it should be OK now. I find that a very strange story/coincidence.. :-/

Bizarrely, the courtesy car I've got from the dealer (Fiat 500) has got a problem with its stop/start - almost identical error messages to those that were appearing in my DS3. Coincidence? Ringing them up tomorrow about this.

My car ds3 2016. Cabrio sometimes won’t start after a drive .sit for 15 minutes turn the key and it starts .engine fault on but then goes out . Any body any answers.
