Evening guys,
New member here with a question if I may be so bold (that could just be me being a muppet)?
Love our Shark Grey and Black 2015 DS3 DSport+ (BlueHDI 120) and have been lurking in the shadows here for a while, but I have finally been coaxed into joining today.
I have just got back in from picking her up from the 1st service, and I noticed something odd (as mentioned, I could just be being a muppet). I filled her up with Diesel yesterday, and she was showing the average expected range as 571 miles (which is pretty standard)
I had, by the time I dropped her off at Citroen this morning done 19 miles. Hoever, I picked the car up and as I drove back I noticed that whilst showing a full tank, the estimated range had dropped to 469 miles!
I have had a full service (£220 - what's that all about!?!?!), they have replaced pollen filter, oil filter, Adblue top up, oil top up - 1L, and carried out a 'Citroen recommended' emmision control serviced (Fortron diesel treatment?!)
Having got home (now done 25 miles out of the full tank) I nipped and topped her up, thinking that it is simply fuel use - and it took me 7 litres to second click. Got in the car - still exactly the same estimated mileage.
So what have they done (excluding I guess, a Ferris Buellers style road trip)? I have just got off the blower and they believe that it is not registering the additional fuel as I need to add over 12 Litres.
I dunno, is this correct - could be a load of old hogwash lol - any ideas? As you will have correctly guessed, I'm not mechanically minded - but I can build and support a killer PC
cheers
