As suspected carbon build up on the valves diagnosed by citroen also loom has issue with stereo speaker ecu updates required!!!

Cars 3 weeks out of warranty which i extended its now waiting for warranty company to now authorise the works!!! If not its back to car available dot com.

Wow!!! Citroen dealer phoned today couldnt be any more helpfull!!!! Extended warranty will cover wiring loom part for buzzing speaker!!!

Citroen uk are cleaning inlet manifold and valves etc for free!!! Car is out of manufacturers warranty and extended would not cover this!!

Im guessing that because of how many of these are clogging up they are doing this out of goodwill i didnt even need to ask dealer did it for me!!! Anyone whos got hesitation get it to a citroen garage and get it fixed!!! Its booked in on the 24/8 ill update on power difference after!!!

Hi, I have just bought the same model 2011 43k with the same symptoms.... Going to contact my Citroen dealer tomorrow, just hope they as helpful as the one you went to :-/

I have also started using shell vpower nitro fuel and i hate to say this but noticed a difference just on that!! Shes going in the dealers tuesday i cant wait to get it back to update the difference.

Did you buy your thp private or forecourt? Citroen were helpfull because cars only just out of manufacturers warranty and it has full citroen service history.

If you bought it from a forecourt or dealer just take it straight back and get them to do it.

Also use super unleaded and put a fuel system treatment it this does not cure it but does improve the drive slightly

Fuel treatment has zero effect on valve carbonisation. It may help elsewhere but not in the treatment of Corbyn build up on the valves.
