Memory serves its part of the main fuel tank under the car.

If you are having an issue I would strongly suggest going to your dealer rather than buying cheap equipment off eBay.

If you need to access the reservoir for a refill, it is under the spare wheel.

I thought the Add Blue cars it was in the wheel well but the older Eolys fluid cars it was attached to main tank with no real access except from under the car. But I certainly could be wrong

During the handover of my car the foreman showed me a lid under the spare wheel as the place to refill the adblue. That's a crappy solution because you will need a hose in oder to avoid a mess.

Not quite, AdBlue is different from the fluid that goes into the DPFS.

                  Again something learned.

so the diesel engines run on 3 fluids:

                  1. Diesel
                  2. Eolys (injected directly into the fuel tank and only mentioned as a side note in the manual) to assist the DPF cleaning
                  3. AdBlue (injected into the SCR cat) to reduce NOx

                  right?

Or a dirty great funnel to assist pouring!

Eolys fluid was used before they changed over to Adblue. They are 2 totally different systems for cleaning up those nasty diesels.

But the manual mentions aside from AdBlue a fuel additive that can only be refilled by a shop.
Shouldn't be this eolys or its advancements?

Really found it easy on mine even though underneath one nut and three quick release screws emptied bag of what was in although pretty much empty filled took about 1. 1/4 litres pretty small I thought now all I've got to do is get the ecu reset I could of done this easy when I had a vauxhall had opcom but all I've got now is a little fault code reader

Think your letting the handbook confuse you. Without going and looking at it I would say they did a bad job with the rewrite to accommodate the Euro 6 engines Adblue system.

Correct. They haven't "changed over" or replaced it. It uses both.
