low level brake lights not working

have checked and renewed some bulbs today but still have no low level brake lights, i do have the boot light working so guessing its not the pedal switch, cant find any fuses for the brake lights either

Brake lights, what do you mean by low level? Sorry, just a term I've not heard before

There are 3 that come on with the pedal - spoiler and boot x2 (1 each side)

sorry by lower level i mean the 2 either side of the boot, the higher one on the bootlid works fine

Daft question, but if you had the light fittings out to change the bulbs, are they plugged in?

Behind the fitting there is a plug that connects the lights to the car. But to see this you would need to take the fitting out - with the long plastic screw that holds them in place.

yeah, checked the plugs, the sidelights all illuminate, cant find any fuses for the brake lights, stressing me out lol

Try yet another new set of bulbs? If they don't work either there must be some wiring issue if there's not a dedicated brake light fuse. Double check that the lights you put in are the right bulb.

I am of course assuming that you have the old rear lights like me. If you have the new 3D LED rear lights then the brake lights are LEDs that need replacing by a specialist.

yeah have the older type bulbs, will take them out again later andf check their all correct.

fuses are all stated as front high and low beam, anyone know if theres any earths to the lights i should be checking
