Gutted wouldn't even come close. I've managed to source a second hand tailight but the body shop that is painting the door reckons my bumper needs replaced. Gonna get a few more opinions though. Worst Monday I've had in a long time!
    😯👎

    Take the light is cracked?

How did that happen? Take it is not a cost effective insurance job?

Where I live is a complete mess with cars and there was an UP in my blind spot and I reversed into it. Driving almost 9 years and I've never had a bang at all so I'm so annoyed with myself, I suppose even the most careful driver can have an accident though. The UP only has a few scratches too, my car definitely got the brunt of it!! No, would never put anything through my insurance unless it was a write off job. I'll get a second hand bumper or get that one filled and sorted. I want to get rid of it around September time so its hateful having to fork out money on it but it could have been worse I suppose. There's only about an inch of the tail light cracked but apparently you just have to replace the whole unit.

Question for all of you who have had paint bubbling/rust issues: do you have metallic paint or regular?

                    Toy cars...

Shauna, have you tried the hot water fix on the bumper (Vids on Youtube), seems like you have nothing to lose

Yeah it was Volkswagen UP! lol

No I haven't - my other half is going to try it at the weekend and see if we can take the bad look off it until I get it sorted. I don't want to attempt it myself! Haven't driven it since except to the body shop and back lol

Mine was started on a Tuesday morning and was finished by lunch time on the Wednesday; some places take the biscuit because a manufacturer is paying for the work. My body shop also managed to leave my wing mirror loose on the side they've painted, drives me mad when I'm going up the motorway now, need to get it sorted lol

Was yours just the drivers door? Mines having both done.

... Might have to a proper check of mine once it's done before I sign it off... 🙈

Got the car back from the paint shop on Wednesday. Brought it straight to the dealership with the broken spring. Got it home and noticed this on the drivers chrome door strip. Not sure who's damaged it. But I'm not pleased
