Got the car back from the paint shop on Wednesday. Brought it straight to the dealership with the broken spring. Got it home and noticed this on the drivers chrome door strip. Not sure who's damaged it. But I'm not pleased 😩
You're really hitting all the bad luck at the moment... See what the dealership says... They should of mentioned it, even if it was there before they took it.

After 3 and a bit days, mine is back. Quite impressed really, as they fixed all the tiny nicks and creases on the doors too... 👍 😊

                    Hi,
I'm new to the site. Have the same issue. I thought I'd just let you know of my situation. Bought the car for my daughter 2 months ago. Bubbling under passenger door mirror of a 2013 white DS3. Car is now 8 months past warranty. Took it to the dealer who said it's a common fault. Citroen know about it but will try and wriggle out of any claim. They took photos & contacted head office. Estimated £700 to repair x2 small paint bubbles (approx 2cm square in total).

3 days later had a call. Citroen refusing to cover claim as the previous owner although getting the car serviced correctly/on time and stamped in the book, forgot to check whether the garage had stamped the paint section of the 4 year inspection (which they'd forgotten to do) therefore invalidating any claim under the paint warranty.

As a good will gesture they said they'd cover 18% of the cost (how they come to that figure heaven only knows) but increased the repair cost to £900. That's obscene, a disgrace and in my book theft to charge that amount for such a small repair.

I'm having it assessed by a paint chip repair company in the next couple of days. Will post the outcome.
