Looking for a Garage that will carry out Walnut Blasting in/around Surrey

BMW/Mini garages here in Surrey borders area have turned me down. I can't get to
Leicester to get it done up there (and I don't think the car would make it anyway).

What do you mean exactly, by you "can't get to Leicester" ?
As above, just hire a transporter and truck it there. Or pay someone else to do it for you - http://www.shiftacar.com/ etc.

If you're looking to avoid a £1900 bill, then there are many many ways to move your car 100 miles up the M1 or M40...

Yes, you are, of course, right. I was being a bit pessimistic I guess. I have started to get some quotes for someone to get it to Leicester for me. I'm OK with driving it back. So hopefully, I'll have some good news soonish.

I know this is an old post but found a BMW/mini specialist in Twickenham (so very close to Surrey) who is willing to do Walnut Blasting on Citroen DS3’s that are fitted THP engine and thought the information might be useful to other DS3 owners.

My 2013 DS3 TPH 155 developed the dreaded loss of power at 37k having previously already had the inlet valves cleaned chemically by Citroen under warranty twice before, the last time this was done was just over year ago having done less than 5k miles.

My local Citroen garage offered another chemical clean at a cost of about £1200. Put off by the cost and also not being convinced that a chemical clean was not effective I decided to try and find a local garage that would undertake Walnut Blasting on my DS3. At first I tried Citroen/Peugeot specialists but could not find any in the South that could do Walnut Blasting so I decided to try BMW/ Mini specialists.

One of the specialists I spoke to was Barry Turner of Turner Automotive in Twickenham who agreed to do the walnut blasting on my DS3.
My car was the first DS3 he had done and he did need to modify some of the mini blaster attachments to do the job but he did a great job and DS3 is now running better than I can ever remember.

I am in no way linked to Turner Automotive, and I also release I this is my first post on the forum, however if you do need to get Walnut Blasting done in the South East give Barry a call.

How much was it then and did it include oil /filter change, I've been quoted £350 plus vat!
