Well it says that but if you give it the beans for 20mins I'm sure it will drop a fair bit. Traveling home tomorrow so will see how I get on with the return leg. Driving up to hook today for a wedding then back home tomorrow afternoon.

I had a drive recently, started with 545 miles in the tank, covered 72 miles, ended up with 525 miles in the tank... [emoji85]

As you say, they can get good mileage. I have held 85mpg, doing 50mph in 5th. But that was a long flat road.

That's as good as it's going to get I think. Range is 65mile left but fuel light is on so not sure how much extra it would go.

Pretty happy and mighty impressed with this engine.

Fuel light comes on when 5 litres of fuel is left, which will get you a fair way but I don't like to risk it.

Drove down to Torquay from York today, didn't do too bad with mpg, where possible set cruise to 72, so doing 70.

Hahhaha. Still impressive mate. I had a few spats at 75 on the cruise control just to get past everyone else sat at 69.5mph.
