Lol!! Then you don't need to go to all that bother then!!
Look at the nearside wing and there is a jump earth bolt for you to connect too!
Will that still work when I am jumping a different car ?
I was told that will only work if it is MY battery that is dead and I am the one getting the jump but to jump someone else you need to have both terminals connected ??
Also will this work if I ever need to charge the battery etc ??
If not then I would still like to know how to get into the battery rather than being stuck somewhere.
Yeah I found that but that kinda just says what I was told, and that it is only if MY car has the dead battery.
It says to connect the cables to the positive and negative of the slave battery. In my case the DS3 is the slave battery and I cannot access the negative terminal.
Anyway, lets just says my battery needed replaced. There MUST be a way to get into it. And why is it different from everyone elses?
I'm guessing that your car has "Stop-start", which is why it's "different". Just use the flap to get access to the positive terminal & use the connection point provided to connect the negative jump lead. If you haven't got the connection point, just use any accessible bare metal (e.g. a bolt head) as near to the battery as possible. Doesn't matter that you're not connected directly onto the negative terminal, as battery negative is grounded to the bodyshell, so anywhere on the body will do.

No I dont have stop start or anything else like that really. It's a fairly basic model.
I will give it a try with the earth bolt but I am even more curious to know what this is and how I access the battery should I need to.
