i bought some leds sidelights at weekend 12 quid but they are ace and good quality they dont flash and are wrapped in a heatproof layer because i got some cheapos of ebay for 7 quid and they snapped of they were crap!! you get what you pay for

TBH i recon the best bet is to get xenon at 5000 kelvin best light very white, gona get some next payday have you got some zack? if so where du get em from and how much? cheers mate!

rite guys, getting a little bit pissed off with the whole bulbs thing.....
i bought headlight bulbs off ebay (in fairness they weren't expensive) and they're crap. one goes out, i jiggle it about and its grand, next thing the other one goes out. also, i have the same flashing led sidelights as zack which i loved at the start but they've started dicking about on me aswell, they now constantly flash instead of staying on when i turn sidelights on.
how much are we talking for decent ones that aren't gona mess me about?! anyone recommend any??

I use the Osram Nightbreaker Plus bulbs for both main beam and full beam, H1 and H7 required, again, check eBay for both as it's the cheapest place.

By the way, Banbridge is on the A1 isn't it? Recall driving through there on my way down to my relatives in Newry when they lived there.

Cheers Stef, i'll have to see about those, the bulbs that came fitted with the car are terrible!
and yep Banbridge is indeed on the A1 between belfast and newry!the roads a lot better now, dual carriageway the whole way (incase you're interested.....lol)

Think its only the LED's that flash, the W5W are just normal bulbs

now for sidelights....??

Best ones are Philips BlueVision. The bulbs are blue but they give off a really good white light.

In my old C2:



They're standard W5W bulbs so legal and no issues with error messages.

stupid question time, am i supposed to have 2 reverse lights? im sure i did before and ones out if so. what bulb do they take?
