Another THP bites the dust

Mine's a 59 - one of the first to be registered.

Mines is a 10 plate and I still occasionally get the error message of "depolution system faulty" rearing its ugly head. Only seems to happen every couple of hundred miles. Give it about another 50 or so pushing the car and the problem goes away. Mines is a THP but not exactly standard spec, however the only other car I ever had that produced this kind of message was a diesel!

Got an 11 plate THP. Had no problems at all so far. Done 7k miles since late June.

well people got my car back from Sportiv this morning AND they had replaced 15 items all relating to the timing chain failure good job its all covered by the warranty

Car seems at the moment to go better than ever so fingers crossed it stays like that ................Top job from Sportiv though the car came back spotless including the engine bay .

Remember the dealers dont make the car they just fix it when it fooks up

Reading this i RLY hope my ds3 doesnt have any of them issues.

Hi in the morning I will try to detail what was fitted
I recon it will not be long before Citroën do the upgrade on every thp as a when and if recall
Change at service or if it fails

Join the club, mate! Mine started showing problems at that mileage, too.

I was convinced that the turbo had gone on mine, but not so - in fact, it's about the only thing that hasn't been replaced!

Hope you get it sorted OK.

Does seem like I made a good choice, was offered a thp instead of the hdi for about 1k cheaper and about £35 a month less, was tempted but thought the hdi would be a better long term bet, just prefer petrols to work on as I know them

Got my car back today from dealers....Powerloss,hesitation,Anti pollution warning light was all down to a blocked filter which connects to the turbo piping....Seems to be running sweet.
