New to this forum and only just getting used to the layout \and posting process! Great to be here though and ask for some help/advice/guidance. My recently acquired 2014 DS3 DSport cabrio 155 is running permanently 'cold'. At least that';s what the temp gauge and heater is telling me? The temp gauge never moves to the 'normal' position and I get very little warmth from the heater. Apart from that, however, the car runs beautifully with no lumpiness from the engine, or any other problems. I bought the car privately last November and on the test drive am sure it was warm and cosy inside?
I have read some articles about DS3's over-heating, but little or nothing on the opposite? With the weather being so bad I haven't yet checked around the rad or hoses in the engine bay. My only thought currently is that the T/stat is faulty, but I understand this is a combined housing/sensor/Tstat arrangement. Any advice most welcome.
