    Hi and welcome to the club and forum. The rusted exhaust bracket is a common problem on the DS3 and it's defo worthwhile going down the route you did, as you have found out. Saved a fortune.

        Just a quick note on this thread in case anybody else needs it. I've just replaced the exhaust bracket on the rear silencer and I am waiting on another bracket to replace in the centre section. Cost about £20 each off ebay and just bolt on. Certainly a lot cheaper than £600 for a new exhaust! That's just madness! The seller I bought mine from was pfs-parts and as far as I can tell they sell brackets for the entire system.
