When I had my fuel pump replaced under warranty the technician found it hard to find the fault. While fault testing, he took the breather cover off. Doing so it snapped a ridge under the cover and destroyed the gasket. He put silicon on it and hoped for the best. The end result was oil everywhere. The have fixed it properly now with a new cover and gasket. They also did a good job at cleaning under the bonnet.

Good stuff! Hopefully this will help to make you feel more positive about the car than you were a few weeks ago - although I can see that the attempted bodge by the technician won't have improved anyone's views of the competence of some Citroen dealers!

Anybody noticed the gap between the inner wheel arch and the plastic sill, about 1cm. it gets very mucky and may be a potential rust trapas there is space behind the guard? I'll take some pics this week incase you don't know what i'm on about. Or am i missing a piece or are Citroen expecting me to buy mudflaps

The Front Splashguard info and the Hesitation info both worked out fine for me. Have had those two done a month ago and haven't had any problems since.
