My issues with the THP

as hangar111 post about engine problems it the timing chain that keeps coming up from dealers

I picked the car up Friday and the fault is still there... Will be ringing them Monday asking to meet with the dealership principal and discuss refunding my money

Mines made a slight clicking on start up ever since Ive had it when cold
Takes till its heated up proper, and been driven for 5 careful mins, till it goes
Never worried bout it. Took me several months to find this clubsite after I bought it
Is it the timing chain- expect so, but its never given me cause for concern

Over 20k miles done, and 15 month warranty left

So cos the noise has always been there Ive never worried. Only this site, and the reports (Not saying their wrong) made me think bout it
Theres another (Like a pump) noise that makes me think a tadge more

But sod it- not worrying- drive the car hard and am modding it
If the warranty holds up- great. If not, I'll get the wallet out or write to Citroen

Whatever the squeals, clicks. groans and rattles
Overall- I love the motor, and will continue to enjoy it, whatever the Doom n Gloom merchants!
And theres plenty like me

It's not really the noise that's the problem.. It's the fact the moment you put your foot down the revs go erratic and it's gutless compared to when i first had it...

Right- Mines so twitchy with the power, I have to take my foot off (Occasionally LOL)
Havent ever had what you r talking
Only problem i got is the car and the steering handling the power
