Just been to Citroen and booked my car in as when its cold and been sat all day doing nothing i start the car put my foot down on the clutch and wait a couple of seconds and it grinds really loud i lift the clutch and put it back down into reverse and it still grinds. I found that it seems to do this when high idle from cold. I have to leave the car with them overnight on friday and they will try it on saturday. the service manager hinted towards a cable may need setting up correctly as no other gear does it but reverse. When the car is warm it doesnt do it at all and doesnt always do it when cold.

I have seen the other thread about first gear but didnt feel it was relevant to my issue as all the other gears are fine its just reverse. does anyone else have any problems with theirs ???

Hmm...I'm wondering if the clutch is either not lubricated correctly or you have an issue with the release bearing, you need to get your motor back to the dealer asap to get this sorted mate....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
