Engine Choice - advice needed

i have the vti 120bhp model and its great.it has enough horse power for some fun but obviously not enough to win a race. i completely disagree with zack

Michal- Not a drop of oil in mine since the day it was bought! 20,500 miles at the moment
Its been midpoint on dipstick all the time
Agree with all you say on diesels- the edhi 90 and the edhi110 are both fine (Ive driven both)
Just prefer petrol me- it reacts that little quicker and seems to have more ooommmph!
Each to their own- very jealous of the economies of a diesel

Maybe it kicks in at a higher rpm...

...

Still no power! It has a very flat power curve with no excitement!





In regards to the thp.. can't comment on the 2012 versions but my 2010 has been nothing but problems and hasn't been right or fixed in the past 6 months...

Age doesn't matter, I just expected you to be a little older with an opinion like that is all.

THP all the way!!! after also driving the vti as a courtesy car I can agree is very boring compared to THP, plus I hated the gearbox!

I'd guess at your age the Insurance on a THP would be a fortune
Nice to see some young DS3 owners- most of us are olduns (Not that old, but remember ABBA when I was a kid- great- specially the blonde one!)
