Ok, just looked at mine and noted that the plastic bolt and nut aren't great as they don't tighten enough to stop the lateral movement of the wheel and the casing for the jack etc.
Appears to be a design issue as in my previous cars the bolt was steel with a big yellow head that screwed throug the centre of the wheel into a hole in the boot. This allowed you to secure it properly. Anyway despite the less than 100% tightening my wheel appears to almost completely fill the space it sits in, with some effort I can get it to move side to side but not easily and never noticed any noise whilst driving.
