Thanks cyclone it looks like a software issue with the car so I'm going to get in touch with Citroen and see if there's any updates available and I'll mention that other people with the same car and phone have no issues.

    Thanks

Does anyone else have this issue with an iPhone 4S?

The day I picked up my ds3 I got a friend to ring me and it showed their name. However since then when I have received calls its just shows the number.

I've only had it 9 days and haven't changed any of the bluetooth settings :-/

      Any ideas? :-p

My iPhone has worked fine since I got my ds3 a few months ago both on IOS 6 and all of the IOS 7 beta releases other than beta 2 that broken the music playing and Bluetooth streaming.

The latest 1.82 for connecting box supports Caller ID for the iPhone 5. v1.75 reports nothing but 1.72 supports only a few iPhone versions.

you will need to confirm what version of software the connecting box uses also. its not just an iOS software issue sometimes, thats why vendors of headunits and bluetooth devices release updates for their products too.

Thanks Toxic I have just been looking at the comparability page and it all points to the software not being up to date

Let us know how you get on with Citroen. some manufacturers you can download and program and then update the bluetooth software yourself. Citroen however seem a bit vague on how this is done.

I was basically told that some phones work some some don't, there nothing else we can do with car from this end and to give customer care a call and take from there.
What there going to over a phone is beyond me but I,ll give it a try you never know might get some freebies for the
                    inconvienence.
Do you know how to find out the software version that on the car so I can check it against there website compatibility chart

My iPhone 4S displays caller ID to the DS3.

It's a 2011 model and has always been so.

You could try deleting the profile on both the car and the phone and trying to redo the Bluetooth sync.
                      Regards,

Thanks SLC I have tried everything I can think off, I've reset my phone back to factory setting, deleted the pairing from the phone and the car I've tried a different iPhone 5 an iPhone 4S a Nokia Lumia 820 windows phone even a salesman at Citroen Liverpool tried pairing his iPhone 5 and none of them worked but the service manager when I collected my car on Tuesday said it worked fine with an HTC he didn't say what model just it worked ok and all he could suggest was calling the Citroen customer care and take from there.

My iPhone 5 does connect to the BT, but no streamining, no phonebook, no caller-ID, etc. So I'm trying to solve this as well...

Has anyone here tried the SD card Firmware update they're talking about over at GPSunderground?

                          http://gpsunderground.com/forum/peug...n-peugeot.html

I used the link from Toxic (thanks!) and confirmed that vers R27 fw doesn't support iPhone 5. I have R27 unfortunately. I've downloaded the latest version, R50, but am hesitant to just pop in an SD card, not knowing what will/may happen...

i'd get Citroen to update it if your not too sure on doing it yourself.

Thanks, I'll give them a ring. Need to figure out who's my local Citroen dealer anyway

As an aside, would a firmware update fall under the warranty?
