    Yes
THP 155s had reduced carbon emissions, reducing the road tax payable, and were first sold in early 2012.
Any THP before 2012 will be a THP 150
In fact some THPs sold after start of 2012 may well be a THP 150 dependant on how on the ball the buyer was
It should be detailed on the registered keepers log book

Yep mines a 115Kw 30-01-2012 works out at 155Bhp. Also my Temp Sensor is inside the Temp Housing whereas the 150bhp is outside the housing and removeable.

Maybe we should list the known differences
The front PCV pipe is different. It seems bigger than on the 150 where it goes into front of engine (Courtesy of Greg)
        Air intake pipes are different
Ive been told a few of the nuts and bolts that fix stuff onto the engine are different too

Just a point of note. The different models all seem to have different Oil dipsticks!
5 of us together at a Lucky 7s meet a while back- all different dipsticks LOL

There is a known issue with the Battery return earth cable, making engines cut out. dont know what year you car is but it should have been replaced under a Citroen recall.

My DS3 has this failure, but mostly above 2.000rpm. Sometimes happens and sometimes not. It's intermittent. When the car it's warm, the fail not happens.

What solution you have found for your problem? If there is already a solution.

                        Regards.

ps: my ds3 it's the THP165 Petrol Brazil version.

                          Hi Atila

Sorry to hear you also have this issue. Unfortunately i will never know if there was a solution as my car was in the Citroen garage for 6 months. After that length of time i got fed up and bought another DS3 THP 155 which was better however started to show the same charateristics. I love the DS3 but Citroen have put a very dissapointing engine in it so decided to sell that one as well.

I have now bought a Renault RS265 to play with which is a lot of fun.

Sorry i cant be any more helpful and i hope you dont have to go through the same 6 months i had when mine failed on me.

                          Good luck!

                            Thanks for the fast response.

By the way, you installed any improvements, air filters, remap/piggyback, downpipe, etc?

I was looking into it but the car failed before I did anything, then with all the hassel didnt think there was much point wasting the money. Its a shame because i loved the car was saving up to get the stage 3 remap from a company that upgrades the turbo air intake and fits a custom miltek exhuast. Would have bumped the car upto 220+ ish.
