i got 4 New in box steel wheels on ebay for£200 and hankook 195;55;16 winter tyres for £250 with £26 to fit tyres to wheels

They just had that "Vortex" thing over America- anything happens there, usually happens here in time

I've been watching to see if the forecasters said it was coming here, nothing so far though. If it does, I'm not sure even the Shell VPower Nitro+ diesel, will remain liquid at -37 degrees !

There was one day where every contiguous state had temperatures below zero.
Presume Alaska did as well, not sure about Hawaii though?

Around -8c in the morning rising to +2c during the day, using normal tyres on my Land Cruiser and have yet to die horribly (or worse).

LOL. My first ever try with Winters- and its been relatively warm, no snow. Almost want it, to try them out, and beat the neighbours up the slope
