Took my HDi 90 in for a service last week to find out the above needed replacing. I knew the disks needed doing soon and was hoping my recent brushing with a kerb only needed the alignment adjusting, unfortunately there is more to it.
I was quoted £190 for the disks and pads and £160 for both the TR and SA. Didn't think it was too bad but i hate paying for something I'm sure I can do myself (Never done anything more than change a wheel before though lol)
Anyway, I have a few questions...
Do i need the FACOM D.60A's to force the caliper pistons back? Or could i use a general tool to do it?
For a 10 plate HDi 90 which size disks should i be buying. 266mm or 283mm? Both come up for my registration at many suppliers.
The guide from big feets thread (Kudos to him) says the bolts removed should be replaced with new parts. Is there a kit with these parts in or does anyone have the sizes of them? Is this even necessary?
I can source the track rod end but I'm having trouble finding a steering arm. Does anyone know the part number for this?
Thanks in advance for any help
