Although I had no reason to think that there was any problem, I've had my tracking checked today - this is something I consider as almost a routine maintenance operation.
When I picked it up the guy who did it said that it was quite a long way out, although he pointed out that their machine is so accurate that what looks like quite a long way out to them may in reality be only a very small amount.
It may be just psychological, but it does seem to be better - a slight tendency to follow road camber seems to have gone. Looking at the front tyres there is an almost imperceptible feathering on the outside edges.
A tracking check is well worth doing - even if the suspension hasn't been obviously damaged by hitting a pothole, heavy kerbing, etc., as the rubbers settle, bearings wear in, etc., in normal use, it will change.
Good to have a: "Nice cars these, there's a real quality feel to them" when you drop the car off!
