Chris, I would hazard a guess that what Jamie is referring to is the silicon hose you can get which is has metal wire through it such that it wont collapse as easily as standard hose under vacuum. Sure he will correct me if I'm wrong though.

Ah right. I have some flexible pipe with metal braiding in that didnt use, (Like coaxial cable- TV, and oil/heat resistant) but it doesnt seem to add much support to the walls
Thought the braiding was to bind the PVC together- but could be wrong
        Interesting to see whats said

I think the braided hosing is too limit the expansion of the hose and stop blisters popping up under pressure not hose collapsing under vacuum!

It's the vacuum that's the problem.

The Saikou Michi 'S1' http://www.saikoumichi.com/OCC_page.htm which is their smaller can, 2.5"x6", with the 19mm inlet/outlet. So same as Chris_Blue has (pretty sure?), although his might be a slightly different size.

the s3 has the 19mm(3/4") outlets. think the S1 has smaller outlets tbh.

Think mine is the S1 OCC with 19mm imlet/outlets. Measures around 9inch from top of inlet pipe, to bottom of drain conc, when its fully closed (Reverse thread). Thats the guide the supplier sent to me anyways.
You can get smaller inlet/outlet size pipes, even on the S1 OCC
Its just the right size for behing the offside headlamp, and sight tube is an extra £10 or so

You will need a 19mm/25mm silicone reducer (Internal diameter) for the outlet of the cans, pipe back into the airflow, as the size is 25mm

He does custom orders, and also frequently it seems, does the S1 can with 19mm inlet/outlet for Minis. He seems to be all over it, which is great.

Yeah cheers bud, I'm pretty sorted with the can on the front PCV.

Do need to do some reading as to what will be needed for the rear one though, obviously hose capable of holding up under vacuum as previously touched on in this thread, but will need to figure out what reducing hoses will be needed. Might be a job for Monday or Tuesday when I have some more time.

I need to look into it to- the route of the pipes may be tight, and what angles/ reducers that are needed. Look into the pipe type too. Am seeing Jamie mid May, so will be picking his brains. Post up what you find out Tch, and i will same.
However, I'm not in a hurry, just before October for me.

I probably won't get the cans for 6 weeks or so, as its about 4 weeks back log for producing them, then a couple of weeks posting them from the US to Australia. But shall post whatever I find out, when I do.
