Accept what you say Toxic- but thats not going to happen. (Vent to air)
My point was to minimise (Not resolve) the problem and my "Personal view" (Not IMO for Cyclones sake) is that as said in post 27. My personal view is those considerations will make the journey to Mr Walnut blaster further away, but inevitable nonetheless
Maybe a better vapour cleaner than a bit of steel wool in a catch can, would help

I've been having a similar problem in 1st gear, engine seems to stop delivering power for a second or so, almost to the point of stalling itself.

155THP, 4300 miles on the clock, only a few months old

Doubt this is carbonisation of inlet valves - into the dealer methinks

          THP 155 Engine Hesitation

Well I've decided to go wmi, 30/70 mix.
Will be installing with a progressive controller mapped to suit my boost pressure 1.4bar.
I'll fit it straight after we done the clean on the intake tract.
10-15% more power will be a nice too.
It's the way forward with GDi

Clutch, will worry about that when the time comes.

Would imagine its the cleaning properties of WMI Jamies after more- on the basis that his valves were well crudded up

Jamie, what price are we talking for a Water/Methanol injection setup?

I decided to do some testing and hooked rear PCV into front PCV hose with a t-connector and from there normally to OCC. Might post images on my build thread, though my setup is not beautiful.
Rear PCV hose is still there but it is closed with a plug.

Also sprayed A LOT of carburetor cleaner into the rear PCV hose while engine is running hoping it would behave similarly to Seafoam.
Though, produced only a little of that white smoke. Exhaust pipe was dripping extremely carbonized water, so something got loose

                          Did some test driving:
-used to have hesitation under heavy load, no more hesitation at all
                          -better idle
-need to check OCC tomorrow after i've done few hundred miles
-so far didn't notice any issues

No, I need to explore all the potentials in the 155 before changing the turbo, and at £1300 for 20-30hp it's a lot of dosh,
WMI cost £320 and will give me 10% more power, clean intakes and lower EGT.

Only downside to this set up is that your putting twice as much gunk through your turbo now, mine gets crapped up enough with one PCV entering it.
Best place to dump it I reckon is in the exhaust after cat. Burn it!

You know I have actually thought about this, but haven't heard anyone doing it. Wonder would it actually be possible and feasible to do a mod into DP?
