F*CK! After the 2 hesitations last week, this morning another problem. I drove out of my parking spot And after a few meters I got the message "Warning oil pressure. Stop engine" (roughly translated). I stopped the car. Then started it again, and the problem was gone...

Jamie are there any air/fuel Sensors that could be getting clogged up from the oil vapour from both PCVs on route to the inlet manifold?

There are 2 sensors in the intake, one in the manifold under the airbox and the other you can see in the boost pope that crosses over the engine.

Did the car show any problems or was it just the message? Have you spoken to your dealer?

Assume you checked the oil level?

On another note... No hesitation since my "software update" last week - I'm not holding my breath, however. It would only occur two weeks past or so... Playing the waiting game at the moment

                Good news for you!
Oil level is OK. It did seem very black (more so since I checked a while ago, but maybe that's normal when a car has had it's first birthday?) The car is behaving normal since yesterday morning. But it's scheduled for it's first service on Monday. I'm passing by the dealer this evening/tomorrow to inform them of this new situation, so maybe they can plan some more time with it..

A nice oil change then FLP? Shouldnt be that dirty really, just discoloured, a bit darker.

I hope that does the trick! But it must have gotten this dirty for some reason.. And dirty oil doesn't really explain the hesitation, I would think..

Jamie, I guess these Sensors can become covered in Oil deposits and thus adjust Air/Fuel mixtures? are they easily accessed for cleaning with something like Isopropyl Alcohol?

It probably wont do the trick, but stick decent clean oil in, change the filter, and see if the oil gets dirty very quickly. If it does, you know somethings giving way.

+1 for this as this is the FIRST thing dealers will look at.

Hows it going FLP. Did you change the oil, and is it any better?

Car is still at the dealership, will be picking it up tomorrow. Curious to hear if they've found something. Probably not..

At least you will have a record you asked for it to be checked out
