Re the touch up pen - if you're not confident I'd recommend getting a pro to do the repair for you otherwise you might end up with a blob of paint that will annoy you much more
Don't get me wrong Andy's chip repair with rolled up masking tape is amazing I'm just worried about you being able to reach it ok....
6ft 1 hubby has said he will help, especially as his BMW needs some doing too plus he wants me to do one of my cleans on his car, so between us we should hopefully be ok. After forking out for the excess on a new screen, I need to try and save a few pennies and have a go ourselves!

As long as something is on there for now protecting it from the elements you should be ok. As I said, build up the layers, will dry fairly quickly, then when you are happy, I would apply about 3 very light coats of wax to the roof to ensure the area is protected from the weather and the water from your washers.
Good luck with this. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Andy, what can I put on it for now? I'm going to ring round and hopefully get hold of some of the touch up paint to use at the weekend. Is that going to be ok time wise?
I've also got the sonax hybrid sealant to apply anyway so hoping that will help to protect it after?

That will be fine, just don't use your washers and try to keep it dry till then. Not a major crisis if you cant so don't be worrying. The Sonax will be good. Just leave 24 hours between each coat to ensure sealant has properly "set".

Thanks. Have just rung my local dealer and they claim citroen don't do a touch up stick thing in the pink, as they don't do them for them limited edition roof colours?! Going to ring citroen direct and see if this is true. If it is, it will have to be a bodyshop job :-(

Ouch. Just think though, it could have been worse though, it could have gone through the screen and into your head (I'm a jolly person really). I'm sure you'll get it sorted though and it will be better than ever!
