Is there video input on the MyWay system? I'd love to have 7-inch iPhone running through it!

As far as I know there is no VGA input for MyWay, only the Navi-Drive system offers that which is not on DS3....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

Hmmm... Thought about this for a few minutes and remembered that C5 MyWay does have a VGA input in the glove box. After having a look at the Part Diagram it looks like the cable just plugs into the back of the MyWay Unit. Unless someone tries this then we won't know for sure

Looks like you've linked to an invalid file mate.
I assume to get round to the back of the screen I'd need to pop the dash off?
I was thinking either a splitter to run down to the glove box or some form of replacement screen that can still be used with the myway system..cyclone> Fish is the man

Try it now.
The cable plugs into the MyWay radio unit with a VGA plug which you could mount where you like....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

Strange as it works for me?
Okay try this
The two parts are numbers 25 & 35. Not sure if 25 runs between the radio and dash screen or if the 35 (plug) comes with cable. Maybe John N can shed some light....I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

Gimme a couple of weeks
Anyone who's had the radio out before, is it an easy enough job to feed the additional cables through the cabin?
edit: PM sent to Nichol to see if he has any more info on this alsoLast edited by Dangerousfish; 23-03-2011, 15:46.cyclone> Fish is the man

As I don't have my DS3 yet, it's unlikely to be me that provides the answer. If this can be done, preferably with a splitter cable and an in-line switch, then it'd be the best thing since sliced bread -MyWay...iPhone...MyWay...iPhone...Myway...7-inch porn...err...MyWay :redface:Last edited by singlelayer; 23-03-2011, 16:57.

From what biggy posted, there shouldn't be a requirement for a splitter, just a simple VGA cable to run from the back of the headunit through to the glovebox or somewhere else (the hole in the passenger footwell might be great for this) which can then be plugged into any other device that has a VGA output.cyclone> Fish is the man
