Does that mean disconnect the MyWay in favour of say an iPhone? If not how would you switch between the two?

I'm not sure how it would function if say you're looking to switch between the two however if you're wanting to connect your IPhone you can get a VGA output cable for the IPad which should work with an IPhone or similar..

Hopefully there's a splitter box out there that allows two video sources to be connected to one monitor and a switch allowing the selection of which source to view -that's what I want and am hoping is the case!

Dont worry Sim, I'll be sure to post some information on the possibilities once I've tested it. Maybe it'll be ze first!

Of course, I can't be sure how long my post will stay up as they have a habit of being deleted at the moment. If not I'm sure I can contribute somewhere else.

Had a chat with our CT as he has had one the of C5 MyWay (same as DS3) systems to pieces as part of a warranty claim. He told me that the VGA inputs that live in the glovebox are connected directly to the MyWay Unit via a cable and that it just plugs in the back.

What I would suggest is for someone to just pop out their system (like a radio) and quickly check the back to see if there is indeed an unused port. I don't think the C5 and DS3 use different MyWay Units but it would be a way to check?

Good idea, that should help these boys fit the VGA plug from C5 to their DS3's.

I don't suppose there's someone with, or access to a C5 that can plug in an iPhone and see what it looks like/if it works OK...?

Touchscreen has nothing to do with it. We're simply looking at a method of having some form of video input..
