Is it possible to disable bluetooth in DS3 2011 release, no touchscreen

Does my car work different? because I paired it 4 years ago and haven't had to do anything since. The car and phone just find each other and connect automatically and it all just works no messing around with anything every time.

No, mine's the same as yours. The car pairs automatically with a pre-paired device. I've just edited my previous post to say 'will only search for a new device if you ask it to'.

As others have said, don't pair it, no problem. It won't ever prompt you.

I dont think this is possible. unless citroen are very clever and though out the option for bluetooth to be become disabled if nothing is paired after engine started, since it doesnt allow to pair it once car is running, for safety reasons.

It is possible. As other posts above have already stated, you need to only enter a 4 digit code once and your phone is paired and will automatically connect provided bluetooth is switched on your phone. It's easy to remove and pair a new one as I have just changed phones and updated it. Dead easy. However, if you never want a device paired to the bluetooth in your DS3, just never ever pair it and it won't connect to anything. Period.

Well I have missus with me quite often and I dont want her to start complaining why I dont pair my phone, then i'm in the car. I just dont want to Im all good and she's my soulmate, just i dont feel comfortable pairing a phone while someone is in my car. I rather just dont use it all, since i would never put anyone in danger on the road. My other question. are there any DS3 which come without bluetooth?

Fair point, when looking at DS3's the biggest clue in regards to the bluetooth is to check the centre screen, bear in mind that Bluetooth started becoming standard on most DS3s from 2013 onwards;

If the screen looks like this then the car has bluetooth



If the screen look like this one then the car is free of Blueteeth




I don't think it is possible to deactivate the system via your dealer but my advice would be to just tell your missus that your mobile is not compatible
