PS- the satnav on an ANdroid device is far quicker than a standalone one- the phone has a much more powerful processor than a standalone satnav so gone are the days of calculating route wait- it happens literally instantly

Damn right it is. I use Co Pilot and it is fantastic but there are 3 or 4 other ones- all personal preference. I think Copilot Pro is 20 quid including European Maps and Live Traffic. I also use Dashboard pro that gives my speed in big numbers and large shortcut buttons to apps i use in case I need to open one when driving.

There's lots of offers on Android phones at the moment and the Nexus 7 tablet is cheap as chips for what you get as well (should be able to buy in shops 25th)

+1 for the CoPilot option... Used CoPilot Live for past 18months+, and recently got upgraded to the latest CoPilot version 9 for freeeee... Plus it uses local map data & POI, so no racking up big data bills downloading map data...

Might have to get the ODB2 adapter just for fun, as cant really go wrong for that price...

Yes it does Gav and you can also delete error codes if you really want to...that's my thoughts on this- for the price you simply cannot go wrong and with most people having their phone hooked upto their car anyway it's just something else you can do with little or no spend

No, you need an Android mobile device that's got bluetooth... The ODB2 adapter plugs into the DS3, and sends the ODB2 signals on over bluetooth to a connected mobile...

Like Gav said- the adaptor is totally separate from the DS3's built in bluetooth.

Getting old - I used to understand technology once. You put an 8" disk in your disk drive and stored everything on your 10 meg hard drive - more memory than you could ever use!
