Yup....if you are ordering make sure you get a 1500w rated wiring kit was all they said. A 1sub wiring kit will probs be rated at 1000w and melt

No too sure what the rating of the one I have is, it's either the vibe 8 gauge or 4 gauge. At worst the 8 gauge can handle 1500w so should be fine either way. Hope yours arrives before Friday then il order one after seeing it in yours

Think i'm gonna add the cap in at a later date seeing as the supplier of the sub/amp has said its not needed but will provide a nicer sound output. Defo be fitted before French Car Show i'm promising myself haha

I'm thinking the same, they sound amazing as they are but when you turn it up and the bass hits the dash lights flicker lol I like it as it's a mini disco but after a few mins of night driving it does start to get annoying aha. Plus for £30 it's another toy to add to the setup too

not yet, held off for now thought i'd see how it went without and add it in at a later date. Was it a pain to wire?

I did the same but noticed my headlights flickering when the music was loud, and didn't want other drivers thinking I was flashing them lol so I brought one off amazon and installed it next day.

Was easy enough to wire, just cut power wire, then solder ring terminal connectors onto each end, buy a length of ground cable and repeat soldering terminals with that. Find a decent ground but make sure it's not the same ground as the subs. Then just use the resistor to make the initial charge, and your done whole thing took maybe 25 mins? But it depends how loud you have it as to weather you need one really.
