Time for another update, nothing special though haha, just a follow up from the big clean I done around 1.5 month ago.
With all of the bad weather from cold, frost, rain, dry and hot the claymitt, White Diamond followed by 2 coats of Soft99 Fusso is still holding up strong!
Made washing the car on monday alot easier, dirt doesnt seem to stick to the car as much either which when living on a farm is a big bonus!
This time round i used the Powermaxed TFR with my snowfoamer bottle although i think it was i had it a bit too dilute as it didnt have the results i was hoping for... maybe its just me but i'll try a thicker mic next time. anyway its picture time
Couple of videos of water run off
Cheers for looking Joe

More cleaning = More Pictures
Washed the car again yesterday and finally got round to using PowerMaxed Quick Detailer for the first time. Don't know if i was using right, Spraying onto a microfibre cloth, wiping on car panel at a time, then buffing off with a clean cloth. Anyway it made some nice result and was the easiest thing to use ever!

So bringing this back to life since i haven't posted anything ina while!
Finally been bothered to fit the LED light resistors to alloy for non Canbus Error free LED lights to be installed, the reason for this being is that non canbus lights are often alot cheaper, you can buy more in a pack and usually brighter (more SMD, than the equivalent priced canbus lights)
Safe to say that they work LEDS are a nice bright whitey blue and complete with no flickering at all
I think theyre bright enough xD

So yesterday I had the pleasure of finding out that my drivers side rear spring has snapped
Fiancées dad found it the day we went on holiday, 2 weeks ago. He put it in his garage and forgot about it...
It's just the very top of the spring. Just over half a coi . Enough to make the car lean over anyway. Never noticed it bang or drive any differently anyway. My dad said I was lucky it didn't shoot through the car somewhere. Never had a spring snap before
Now I have the choice of £25 for a standard spring or ~£100 for some lowering springs haha.
What's the best opinion. Normally I would go for lowering springs but I had them on my old car and it made cleaning the wheel arch impossible. Especially since I live on a farm. I'm moving out soon anyway so will probably just buy a normal spring and get lowering ones for next year

Farm life might be better at standard hight. The installation of the rear spring is really just remove the lower shock bolt and pull the spring out jam new one in,shock bolt back in, bam done could do it at home easy. If you go for lowering springs the front struts have to come out be disassembled. That could also be done at home if you have the tools and are comfortable with the thought of doing it. Otherwise even more money to have it done for you and either way after taking out the front struts a wheel alignment needs to be done. So not really 25 vs 100 pounds because all that other stuff will cost too.Originally posted by cyclone
It is in the handbook. Satisfied.

Hello guys and girls. Realised I haven't put anything on here since last September :O
Not much has been going on car wise but life wise I've finished my apprenticeship, moved into a house and I'm getting married in July
Cars parked on the road at the minute but a nice open 2 car driveway is in the plans once the funds are there :P also getting serious about getting a remap, finally! Going with CleverRemaps, based in Carlisle ( part of the Quantum Tuning group)
And it's only 30 minutes away, sorry Jamie :P
Still toying with lowering springs. Gonna depend on how the driveway works out.
On another topic though, was cleaning the car this morning and knocked the rear view mirror off the windscreen. And it fell off and took a chunk of glass with it :'( been in touch with insurance and going through autograph so hopefully all should be sorted soo. Just left with a mirror dangling about haha
Can't seem to unplug the sensor....
No pictures this time round but there'll be some soon haha

FINALLY! Got my car booked into Clever Mapping at Carlisle which is part of the Quantum Tuning group on the 6th August for a remap! Can't wait. I've had my ds3 nearly 2 years and this will want me to have for so much more.
Travelling down to London on Monday (from Workington, Cumbria) gonna fill up with bt ultimate and will report back what mpg I get
Also I got married last Friday! Happy times. The Mrs and I have been together for nearly 8 years and we're only 22! Honeymoon in September to Florida for 3 week. Can't wait!

So got the car remapped today.
Went for the Quantum Red remap which is their performance remap.
Must say for the 40 mile I've done since then it's been a good 40 mile.
Picks up really well in every gear, responsive from the smallest of touch of the throttle.
When your just in cruising speeds (30mph, 50mph, 60mph) you can really tell that the engine just wants to go!
Sat at 60/70 the difference in revs is good as well. Sits at really low revs when cruising.
Recommend it completely to anyone who hasnt had one yet. It's only taken me 2 years....
