In the image below, it looks like you have only one nozzle (upper right hand) and performed a static test ?
What size is the spray nozzle ?
Do you only intend to spray whilst your car is stationary ?
The reason I ask is, the Black (wet) area in your image has not been subject to moving air flow !!
If you intend to spray whilst the car is on the move, the location is wrong, you've not factored in the effects of air flow when the car is driven !!
For external spraying for the intercooler you need a tube ring around the edge of the outer fins, the tube ring will have 0.5mm or smaller holes at equal distance, with an inner facing spray direction, covering the entire front face of the intercooler in a spray mist, the rings can be purchased from a variety of online suppliers.

Then you will understand the latent heat dissipation properties of water, that said, the idea seems reasonable in theory, as you say, yet in reality given the effects of ambient air temperature differential between the surface temperature of the intercooler while stationary and on the move, and the onboard water temperature in the washer bottle, will play a significant role in determining any thermal heat dissipation, which in just about all cases will be very little to nothing given the volume of water necessary, the droplet size, as the washer pump can not deliver enough pressure to atomise the water, and the effects of frontal air flow on the water droplet size, nozzle size and placement.
So all in all, the theory is good, yet far more thought is necessary for a front faced intercooler sprayer, far better off installing a water Methanol kit, this will provide far more benefit.

Mist and droplet size was what i was thinking, oh and application as well.

Yes mate, thats what Czar was alluding to. Without getting too deep, the droplet size of the water/mist is important, therefore the water would need to come out the holes under pressure, more pressure than a washer pump could supply. Also how long the droplets are in contact with the surface is crucial and at speed this may not be long enough for efficient heat transfer.

The thought is there, it's just not going to be efficient, even if you were to produce and fit a multi nozzle spray tube/bar across the face of the intercooler, this still isn't going to be any more effective, why ?
Simple, unless you fit a high pressure pump, needs to deliver a minimum of 160psi with 0.5mm or smaller nozzles, you are not going to get anywhere near to atomising water in order to create water mist, anything less and the water droplets are just to large to act on enough surface area to be of any significant benefit.

Thanks for reply, you are 100% correct, I have tested the system today only 2C degrees has been decreased so far, also the no return valve was not holding the water back, so its leaking water at the moment. Why its leaking ?
I'm not an expert in fluid movement, but I thinks its all about gravity and air pressure
The water tank cover has a small hole in it, so there is air going through the tank, air is making presser no the water force to go throw the pump evan if the the pump is not pumping any water, so all that making the presser and opening the valve, so the nozzle is leaking
maybe i need srtonger valve or somthing to hold the water in the tube
Czar plz give a link for the inner nozzle, i couldn't find any here where i live

i didn't receive KW Coilovers yet its been 5 weeks now :mad:
i got them eventually and i did install them was a bit pain in the a** but with help from two of my buddies we get it done
the hardiest thing we face is when we was doing the front driver side, the axle came off from the gearbox and gearbox oil was all over the place, we had to find the filling cap to fill the oil, after 2 hours eventually we found it we had to remove the battery and the battery frame to retch the cap
After hard work and effort and too much time
Now it feels more solid, steering wheel is a bit heavier, more stable on high speeds
its on the lowest setup for now.
Also Mishimoto Catch Can is here but didn't install it yet
