Did you figure out if the lower surround (the smile) is just tacked on or are there any clips or grubs behind it?

Will probably fit the strut bar once I fit the modified turbo, intercooler, get the clutch modified to suit and drop the miltek exhaust on.

Please tell us more about the turbo, in what way will it be/has it been modified ?

And which intercooler have you or will you choose ?

no thanks Czar- think you know why I won't be sharing that info with you. Needless to say it is the turbo has been tried and tested to great effect on the same engine and is rated to 250BHP and no, it's not a JCW turbo.

All the chrome and the shiny black license plate piece are clipped to a frame that is clipped to the bumper. There was some white hot glue stuff on the clips for the grill frame, I guess to keep everything secured, but even after cut that all the pieces were held together very tight.

I'm not sure if you've seen mince since the grill was fibred and the stripes put on the bonnet? THe plastidip is just for the surround and mirror caps till I find a decent carbon fibre wrap that will go round the mirror caps (too curvy for the 3m stuff)

Can you remember what size the hoses were for your catch can from the breather? They 15mm?

Grill looking good get rid of the rest of the chrome. DS3Finland wrapped that piece you should too. That way match the chevrons.
Need a pic of the hood from farther away then I'll decide on it.

Yah but didn't you say you were going to plasti dip it?

plasti dipping first to get the colours right, the bonnet stripes will most likely be painted in with dark, matt, gunmetal and when I do that I'll probably change the grill wrap from dark fibre to light fibre. Just want to make sure I have the colours right first before I goto the ballache of taking of the bumper and removing the chrome parts...if that makes sense?
