So after looking at my car with the dipped beams on, I realised how bad the stock sidelights really are when compared with the Nightbreaker plus next to them, there such a dim and yellow colour. So I have gone for these:

I know there LED and might give me the flickering problem, but hopefully they wont & will last. If they do flicker Il just use them as registration plate lights
If not I may order these:

Are they any good? Will post pics when the LED's arrive.

Got back home today, parked up fine but being an auto it rolls slightly when put into park. so it jerked just enough to start it sliding down the drive, luckily i didnt turn the engine off so i still had power steering to turn it away from the hedge
But good news, the postman still ventured out and delivered my new sidelights

It does do that flashing light thing when you turn them off or lock/ unlock that car, its not noticeable when it light outside

so as some of you may know I recently installed my sub into the boot. I cant live without it now, but it does take up a lot of room. After looking on other forums Im going to try a boot build/ False floor I think its called. So I have come up with some designs. But I also have some questions:
Does the sub have to be contained in a box? I,E can i make a false floor and just leave it hanging from the top, so its only enclosed by the boot. Or do i need to build a box to go around the sub?
And will the sub sound/ preform better with a port built into the floor?
The DS3 text with be etched onto acrylic covering the amp and backlit using a few blue LED's. The sub will also be covered in clear acrylic with lots of slots. More of a grill/ Guard incase items fall on it.
Without A Port
With A Port
The sub as it stands is an enclosed sub.
any help is appreciated, bit of a noob with this

Tom I love the idea of the false floor good on you! I'd personally be leaving it without a port and make an enclosure for it behind the false floor so it is nice and punchy still with the bass as the air will be displaced better, Also not to take over here but could you maybe have the DS3 engraved into plexiglass and have an amp (with the blue neons around) also installed into the floor ?
