Yeah I get what you mean, its limiting on the position of the sub due to the box under the floor. As in it can only go where the wheel well is. Im thinking of doing the same with a thin sheet of wood over the top with compartments for the compressor and towing eye. Its just adding wood adds weight and risk of rattles

And I did try the strap, but as mix said, the first bend and it shoots across the boot lol

      • Would sticky velcro straps on the compressor/goo kit hold it in place on the left hand side using the boot carpet ?

          Yep, Works Great!

Sit's there nicely and doesn't move at all, but can be removed for shows with no trace of it being there

To be honest i'm not sure, it looks like the stuff I was going to get but I got given a spare piece from my uncle lol

And it seems strange but place the sub in accordance to the box under the floor, just to make sure it will fit. Also check your sub depth in the car, to make sure it will fit. You might have to raise the floor a little to let the box fit if you have a deep sub. Other than that just go for it! If you need any other help just let me know!

              • Did you fix it down or anything to stop any rattling? or is the weight of the wood and amp enough?

Just dropped it in. The weight seems to be enough to stop the wood moving around. Depending how close you cut the wood out to the original template ect, when you wrap it in carpet it should become a tight squeeze to get it down flat into the boot, which stops it moving around. Also wrap about 3" from the edges under the floor in carpet too, just because this is the bit that will touch the floor, so that should also help with rattles.

It wasn't as easy as they show on the video's but I think this is due to the ways the DS3 headlights are shaped. Took about an hour to fit both, but id really recommend them

                          • Hi tommy
                            Fitting the sub
Are the speaker connections in the plug where the Citroen sub plugs in?
If they are would I be able to plug rca adapter to it?
Do you still have your rear speakers working?
                            Cheers mate

Hiya, yes the speaker to RCA adapter just plugs into the OEM subwoofer plug in the boot. All speakers in the car still work too hope this helps, any questions just ask
