    Hideho. THought I might as well start listing the mods I've done and I'm doing in the future:

    1st off was getting all my gear mounted and tied into the ECU for Torque Pro:



    After that was fitting a high flow panel filter and getting a custom remap in place. After initial arguments with some people over the rating because the rather low 6% drop from the transmission wasn't used they actual rating is now around 203BHP and 235lb torque according to the tuners computers when they put it in the corrective data. No pictures on this one, but feel free to drive it if you're at a meet.

    3rd I was bored of looking at all the chrome so I opted to fibre the front grill and front and read badges and also add to matt black lines down the bonnet and onto the headlights. Unfortunately the fibre was no good for wrapping the mirror covers so I'm just waiting on some matt black plasti dip to do them and the chrome surround smile:




    Next little bosy thing is just a daft decal going on the boot and the citroen racing decals in gunmetal going just under the mirror mounts- real small and subtle:



    To come are a full Miltek exhaust system, a custom built dual pass intercooler and my turbo is going away to be modified into a hybrid with uprated boost of 24psi and BHP upto 250m along with that a new fuel pump will be going on to keep up with the increased boost levels. I'm not sure when these are getting done because the turbo mod will involve it being away a around a week and I need to figure out when that's going to be best.

    Chief, I am not here to ridicule your project or anyones for that matter, I am trying to offer help to you and anyone else who reads my posts, there are many areas when modifying components that need clear concise thought and understanding, and in the long run this clear concise thought will gain you extra hp/torque as well as save you money!

    Now if you don't want any of the above, then it really is a shame, all I can do is give you some pointers and hopefully get you and others thinking about your chosen modifications.

    Here are a few pointers, if you (chief) don't want them on your project thread, then please ask a moderator to remove my post.

    Intercooler: Dual pass is only good for one purpose, and that is packaging restrictions, if you or anyone wants to know more about intercoolers, then ask.

    Hybrid turbo's: Larger wheels (turbine and compressor) are selected, the housings are machined to accept the oversize wheels, does your chosen turbo specialist, also machine the compressor volute to match the extra flow, that the new chosen compressor wheel provides ? Again there are lots of questions need asking!

    Chief you also mention a new fuel pump, will this be the in tank delivery pump, or the camshaft driven high pressure fuel pump ? Again lots of questions need asking!

    Maybe when I have time, I should start appropriate threads, to promote discussions on the various subjects.

        The front grill looks nice Chief, think you should do the whole chrome piece as well.

        Not sure about the eyebrows though....

          Plasti dip is already on its way for the surround. The lights look better in real life, alters the front profile a hell of alot. Plus, when I get bored I just peel it off lol

            That's true!

            You know what your colour scheme has got me thinking that the steel finish dashboard in the C3 Exclusive would look smart in a DS3 now...

              I wanted gun metal stripes but the vinyl colour wasn't too good but I'm gonna get the shiny black parts of the dash wrapped but not sure of the colour yet... The fingerprints are horrendous lol

                Forgot to mention new mats lol...they just arrived, graphite with reinforced heel zone. Now, do I keep them for best or put them in now...hmmmmmmm

                  hi they sound nice keep them for best, when i get the racing mats for mine i will just use them for best club meets runs etc.

                      I'm having my car remapped the 22nd, is their anything i need to keep in consideration or tell them before they put it up ?

                        Not much, make sure they know about the low transmission loss- if they say it doesn't make a difference then tell them to do the maths manually. If you haven't done it already do the pcv delete once your power and boost is higher.

                            Are you talking about the exhaust recirc valve? I would guess that depends on the power they get out- your tuners will advise on any actual engine modifications you will need to compensate for the power and boost differences. I have zero problems with mine and not even something that crossed my tuners mind so I would guess no but follow what YOUR tuners say- they're doing the work and they're the professionals
