I visited MonkeyWorld when I was in Fareham for a year. Good place to visit, weather was superb that day!

That would be great Probably arrange a convoy nearer the time for people travelling down. Did you do both days last year? If so which day is better for Tankfest, as we will be doing Monkeyworld on the other day.

i went to both days there are lovely little campsite near by which is resonably priced too. we used the saturday to walk around the museum and re enactments then the sunday to sit by the main ring to see all the vehicles (and cars!) parade etc.
a note on traffic it took us 7 hours from york to get there the main roads where pretty easy but as soon as you come off and hit the country ones it turned to stand still but plenty of scenary to watch !!

yeh we had a service stop and major roadworks to fight through but definitely worth the journey !

Im still keen on this but Ive put quite a few requests in already (5 or 6) so Ill need to wait till closer the time before asking for more set days off :-/

Still struggling on the hotel front, will continue to look around every week, but South Coast and Summer might mean they will cost a bit more than meets in the middle of the country :/

If you buy Tankfest tickets now, it gives you free access to the Museum for the whole year.
