Gathering Interest - DS3 Meet plus 'basic detailing'

Hi Folks,

Thanks All - I'm seeing Mark Sunday so I'll speak to him then. Just a thought in terms of numbers we might be able to do something with say another 'car' group (it doesn't matter which one as there's plenty of space at Mark's place on a weekend, so easy to line DS3s on one side and whatever other ones the other!)..

Graham I'm all up for a mini meet (oh, minis !), happily help anyone with what limited experience I have. I've never 'tried' a white car but I'm sure we'll get chance - that said your choice of products when you do your own prep on your new car is pretty top notch so you'll get great results I'm sure!!

ds3adi - I'd happily give you a quick machine overview - was going on the logic of a sort of 'basics' as most people just want to know that - but if you've the bug for machine polishing I can show that (DA and/or rotary). On your yellow it could increase depth of paint gloss/reflection.

Once I've spoken to Mark I can publish a date and we'll see how many takers we get

Cheers Clive, just hoping the weather forecast for Wednesday is kind to me.... a dry, still, and slightly overcast day would be just the ticket, i'm sure you will get the chance to "break your duck" and have a chance to work on a white car

Yes good buddy, 4 sleeps to go, going over my prep in my head right down to the last detail..as you know all part of the build up. Can't wait to get started on her, so looking forward to the prep, all being well i will post pics on DW.

Lol, yes I can do it that quick - cos it says one day enhancement.........God wouldn't it be boring if I could!

Hi Clair,

With only about ten or so people showing an interest the only real option is to share a meet with another car club. Mark is going to confirm a date option for me.

Shame as it was great with an Astra club there today, the guys loved learning the basics and really got into it. I'd love to be just showing/helping a bunch of DS3 enthusiasts in one go!
