Shame, it would have been great to have you there. Fly into East Midlands, I can pick you up? I understand that might be a bit OTT, but I've flown to Japan for my other hobby several times so I'm used to going a bit OTT for my hobbies!

Happy to discuss pads and polish with you. Not sure how much machining will be done as these days tend to be more of a general intro, which I know you're already familiar with, but hopefully we can have a good chat and help you with any decisions.

So how does it work exactly? Do we bring all our own stuff? Is there hot water available? I've not been to anything like this before so have no idea what occurs!

Hi Nick,

You don't need to bring anything - I'll post details of location etc and exact start time in the next day or so, but it's at a location where we'll have access to some samples (i.e a 'detailing supplier' location).

We'll just go through the 'basics' of proper car cleaning, correct methods, etc. Depending on time etc might even demo a machine polisher if you have one, but the idea is to focus on the basics. Not 100% sure if we will use a DS3 as the main meet is for Focus ST owners, because of low numbers we are hitch-hiking on the back of their meet!
