Just Gauging the interest in organising a DS3 trip down (or up) to Santa Pod next June/July in Northamptonshire
I've been a few times to the Run what You Brung and its a great day out.
I'm new to the forum but think it would be a good excuse to meet up with like minded people and give the cars a good LEGAL thrashing.
the web site is http://www.rwyb.co.uk/index.htm
the cost is £10 entry per person and £25 for unlimited runs
I personally would recommend no more than 4 runs as your clutch/gearbox and engine can take a bit of a pasting (driver commitment depending)
They have food and drink stands as well as toilet facilities and you can wander around the grandstand and all the way up to the finishing line (behind the barriers obviously)
the only thing you'd need is a crash helmet if your car is likely to top 110 MPH at the 1/4 mile. I would be surprised if many will need to worry about that but thought forewarned is forearmed lol
Anyone interested shout up and I'll get some dates in place. I picked June/July as there is less chance of rain. The strip is closed whilst raining for safety reasons.
