Anybody got a GoPro or similar? I am trying to get my hands on an Hitachi camera that is similar. Might try and sell it to Hitachi to make a video of the trip.

Not sure I'll be able to come but if I get one or two would someone use them?

I'd then like to try and edit a short video together of the trip.

I have a Canon 5D MK2 which gets some great shots.

I also have a Samsung HD camcorder which I could mount on dash too and take in turns using.

Be cool to get some great shots and some great video together of the trip. Would also be good to show people at shows and if we were to do something like this again for charity etc.

5D mkii? Very jealous. Would love that full frame for landscapes and car photography but the 1D fits my needs better for the cycling stuff.

If you manage to get one (or a GoPro) I'd use it Phil . I've contacted GoPro this morning to see if they'd be interested in sponsoring the www.ds3club.co.uk with a camera for this event, we could add stickers to the car if they were up for it.
