Not that impressed with an 8 BHP increase for a special edition car.
Surely they could have squeezed more than that out
Decided i love the paintwork- certainly grab attention

The paintjob is awful and the front end is hideous. Never like the 208 at all.

Parts of the design are good but the front 'mouth' and lights are a fail.

Also not sure why they couldn't get the whole car into the paint shop!

There is nothing wrong here that 65hp can't fix.

I mean it's not like they don't have the engine.
Pop that RCZ R engine in and then it would be a real special edition.

I like it! Though agree that gloss black would've looked better. I actually almost bought a 208 last summer... Glad I didn't though, much prefer my DS3!

I almost got a 208 in November but a couple test drove the one I wanted and bought it immediately after just before I was about to clinch the sale. Glad I went for the DS3 too

Just release a 205 gti with the engine and brakes from the 208 and slap on an lsd. That would make a real special edition.

On second look I agree about the paint, it looks hideous, it should all be matte, the shiny arse makes it look like a baboon !

Had a sit in one in the Pug dealership about 6 months back, it's very nice, the paintwork looks great in person however there is a very obvious ridge where the colours meet - they clearly put the black onto a standard red car. Looks the part though, yet to see one on the road whereas I've seen a couple of Perf Blacks out and about on the road.

Mine is called "ICE" textured paint, so no split colours (Bit old for that- 25 years ago would have loved it)

Ahh thought you were going for a BPS edition. The standard GTi looks just like a normal Pug on the road, at least that colour stands out a bit.
