I know it's a little off topic but I would always recommend opting for protected NCD on any policy.

That usually is only an option with 2 years or above...

Try Admiral, Elephant or Adrian Flux. They've all been really good for me with mods in the past. Admiral cost only jumped up by an extra £30/40 for the year with an arm-length list of mods

Not with them, but been quoted and it was only an extra £30 on top. Can't complain - and friendly on the phone too.

I've had this for years and as soon as I could take it out, hence I have full NCD despite the DS3 write off in 2013
