I don't really follow football that much but my dad's a doctor for Bury so I kinda support them. They won the FA Cup in 1900...I think that's the last time they won ANYTHING.
Wikipedia-ing them I've just found this which made me chuckle
In 2006, Bury became the first team to ever be thrown out of the FA Cup after fielding an ineligible player

Hi Ifcrule72- just wondered why you have that Avatar when youve got a 100million brand new stadium along the road from you, and an upcoming team which will top the premiership within 10 years CBLUE

I grew up in the 70s and 80s and followed Liverpool who used to be on the tv a lot, red was also my fave colour as a child. I have stuck by Liverpool through all the crap years and been to as many games as I can afford each season. I don't believe in chopping and changing teams so whilst I like to see Brighton do well, as a local team, I would never change from LFC (not IFC lol) So far this season I have seen City, Man U and Fulham at Anfield, just trying to juggle work etc to decide on my next game....
Fair enough Ifcrule
Crap years ? What were they for Liverpool
Brighton was almost out of the Football league and was one of the first clubs to face closure by Inland revenue
Then we had a ground sold from under us, and had to play in Gillingham 74miles away for a few years
Now thats what you call crap years
Now we're heading for the TOP (Not at this precise moment LOL) CBLUE
I agree it's all relative, crap years for Liverpool were when we won nothing, played awful football and failed to maintain our late 70s early 80s performances. I think we're slowly moving in the right direction but the problem with football is that the other teams don't stand still either....
